The Cardinal high kick team performed at halftime of the Alexandria boys’ basketball game against Fergus Falls on Tuesday night. The Cardinals beat the Otters to take some momentum into the CLC championship meet this Saturday.
Alexandria’s high kick team came out on top of a dual competition with Fergus Falls Tuesday night, winning 135-92.
“The girls had a fantastic performance,” said head coach Christine Reilly. “What a great team effort tonight.
“Each and every team member is coming to compete and giving 100 percent. The team dedicated its final home performance of the season to the senior team members Lauren Engebretson and Jessa Kokett.
“The team has a lot of momentum going and hopes to carry that energy to the CLC championship meet this Saturday,” she said.
Alexandria will be in Sauk Rapids for those championships, then heads for the section finals on Saturday, February 4.
