Scheibner to speak
Scheibner was scheduled to fly one of the planes that was hijacked on September 11, 2001 and flown into the New York Twin Towers. The schedule was changed one day before the flight.
The Unity Foundation has invited Steve Scheibner, a pilot with American Airlines, to speak at events January 19-21.

He is a trainer and motivational speaker. More than 10,000 Navy service members have attended his Core Values seminars.
Thursday, January 19, 6:30 p.m. – Students age 13 and older are invited to hear Scheibner speak at Mount Carmel Chapel at 800 Mount Carmel Drive NE near Alexandria. This event includes food and fellowship.
Friday, January 20, noon to 1 p.m. – Scheibner will be the monthly Faith at Work Lunch speaker at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Mustard Seed Bookstore in Alexandria. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Saturday, January 21, 9 a.m. to noon – Schreibner will present “The Essential Practice of Character Healthy Living” at Alexandria Covenant Church, 4005 Dakota Street, Alexandria. Adults and students are welcome to attend; there is no registration fee.
