United Way needs volunteers for the following:
• Coat distribution: Assist with ongoing coat collection and distribution. Times and days flexible.
• Mobile food drop: Help at this event on January 26 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the New Life Christian Church.
District 206 mentoring: Mentor a District 206 youth by having lunch twice a month with an elementary aged student or spend four to six hours a month outside of school time with a student who is in grades 5 through 12. Call (320) 762-3310 or e-mail khaug@alexandria.K12.mn.us.
West Central MN Communities Action (WCMCA): Volunteers are needed to help as a screener, greeter, preparer or reviewer at the Tax Clinic beginning on January 16. Call WCMCA at (218) 685-4486.
