During his current deployment to Kuwait, Osakis native and Minnesota National Guard Staff Sergeant Chris Reed met Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera on December 16.
Rivera was at Camp Virginia for live broadcast news segments during the U.S. drawdown in Iraq.
Reed told the Osakis Review newspaper, “[During] the interaction that I did have with [Rivera] he seemed like nice enough guy. He took time to make sure and thank soldiers personally one on one and was happy to get pictures with the troops.”
