The Alexandria Aces were up to their usual tricks Thursday night, entertaining crowds with their basketball handling skills. Seen by more than 1 million spectators, the Aces travel throughout the United States, performing in some of the most famous venues. They've been seen on ESPN and Fox Network, as well as many major networks. The Aces will be on the road to Iowa for the Ohio State-Iowa men's game and will perform on Sunday for the Nebraska-Iowa women's game.
This year's team is comprised of 6th graders Mitchell Toivonen, Brock Anderson, Thomas Anderson, Micheal Kuhn, Kelsey Peschel, Preston Bowden, Cole Wild, Tyler Harris, 5th graders Carter Stockert, Nick Berglin, Noah Boraas, Titus Chamberlain, 4th graders Drew Nelson, Tori Peschel, 3rd grader Lucas Harstad and kindergarten student Blake Nelson. They are coached by Larry Novotny, who is assisted by David Harstad and David Vinje.
