Card gymnastics: Alexandria posts season best, but falls to St. Cloud Tech
The Cardinals had a team high 136.2 against the Tigers
Alexandria had a season-best score of 136.2, but it wasn’t enough to overcome St. Cloud Tech, which won its dual with the Cardinals by scoring a 145.975.
“It is so fantastic to see our team growing, and to not only reach some of their team goals, but to pass right by them,” said head coach Becca Cederberg, whose team set a season goal of a 135 score. “I also enjoy how quickly they decided to extend their team goal to a 140.
“They see their own potential to break some school records, and I know this team has the capabilities to do it.”
Tahlia Bowden led the Cardinals in the all-around with a fourth place finish of 35.0.
