Alexandria City Council to meet tomorrow night

Because of the Christmas holiday, the Alexandria City Council meeting that's typically set for the fourth Monday of the month has been changed to tomorrow night, Tuesday.

One of the big items on the agenda is a public hearing to discuss a proposed amendment to the city code that would allow the sale of on-sale liquor until 2 a.m.

Tuesday's meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Alexandria City Hall.
