Contributed Alexandria’s Julia Sieling finished third individually to help lead the Cardinal girls’ Nordic ski team to third at the Willmar Invitational Tuesday.

Led by Julia Sieling, the Cardinal girls finished third overall at the Willmar Invitational Nordic ski meet at Powder Ridge Tuesday afternoon.

“We had a number of good performances and gained some good experience to build on for the second half of our season,” said head coach Luke Erickson.

Sieling finished third individually for Alexandria, with Melissa Gromatka taking fifth, Megan Bristow 21st and Lauren Hagstrom 23rd.

The Cardinal boys were fifth overall and were led by Cody Call in ninth, Pat Flynn in 12th, Carl Branch 21st and Eric Branch 23rd.
