It was a sixth place finish for the Cardinal dance team as they competed at the Central Lakes Conference jazz meet in Sartell Friday.
“The jazz team had a good performance,” said head coach Christine Reilly. “They made improvements in the area of execution and performed with more confidence than last week at the Fergus invite.
“The girls were nervous. CLC meets are pretty intense competition, but they pushed hard to overcome their nerves and took the floor with a lot of energy.
“The team left the floor feeling good,” she added. “The Cards are working hard at practice to improve their technique and up their scores.”
St. Cloud Tech captured top honors at the meet.
