‘Dreams and Nightmares’ seminar set

Catalyst Covenant Church in Alexandria will host “Dreams and Nightmares: Dealing with the spiritual ups and downs of adolescence,” on Sunday, December 11 at noon. Ginny Olson, an author and youth expert will present the seminar at Woodland Elementary School in Alexandria.

Ginny Olson, an author and youth expert will present the seminar at Woodland Elementary School in Alexandria.

The seminar will look at the critical nature of adolescent years in a person’s faith development, the spiritual challenges adolescents face in this current culture and the important role parents have in their teenager’s faith journey.

Olson currently serves as adjunct professor of youth ministry at Bethel University and director of youth and family ministry for the Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

She will also speak at Catalyst’s 10 a.m. Advent worship service on “Uncomfortable Hope – what happens when hope shows up in ways we don’t expect.”
