Area volleyball: Silverstreaks have two on All-Prairie team
West Central Area has two selections as well
Prairie North Conference runner-up Osakis put two volleyball players on the All-Conference team as senior Cali Sadlemyer and junior Becka Sadlemyer were both selected.
Conference leader Long Prairie-Grey Eagle had four selections, while West Central Area also had two in seniors Jen Froemming and and Hilary Lindor.
Jenna Langer of Long Prairie-Grey Eagle was named as the Prairie North’s most valuable player, while Aimee Pelzer of Upsala was selected as the overall Prairie Conference MVP.
Upsala was the inter-conference championship, winning the battle against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.
Osakis finished with a 7-3 conference record, while the LPGE Thunder had a perfect 10-0 mark to claim the crown.
West Central Area finished at 2-8, while Royalton was 1-9.
