Patty and the Pine Tones is an acoustic string band that performed throughout this region in the 1990s. The band includes singer/songwriter Patty Kakac on guitar, harmonica and autoharp; Bruce Kelly on bass and Terry Kennedy on harmonica and guitar. Annie O’Flynn will join them on accordion and piano.

The show will feature many of Kakac’s original songs in addition to “Thin Ice,” written by Kennedy and Kelly.

This concert is a fundraiser for project costs for a mission trip to Guatemala sponsored by Helps International. In February a group of local residents will be installing water filters and cook stoves in homes for families in the Western Highlands of Guatemala.

There will also be a silent auction and refreshments will be available. A slideshow of the project will be playing for attendees to view. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.
