Awesome aprons workshop offered to youth grades 5 and up

The Douglas County Historical Society (DCHS) and Douglas County 4-H will offer a hands-on workshop where participants will sew an apron and learn the history behind aprons. The workshop is Tuesday and Wednesday, November 15 and 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the DCHS, 1210 Nokomis in Alexandria.

The workshop is Tuesday and Wednesday, November 15 and 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the DCHS, 1210 Nokomis in Alexandria.

The workshop is open to all youth, 5th grade and older. Adult helpers are welcome.

A fabric supply list will be sent when registration is received. Sewing machines and supplies, other than fabric, will be provided.

Registration is $10. The registration deadline is Monday, November 7. Registrations and payment can be mailed to either the DCHS at 1210 Nokomis Street, Alexandria, MN 56308 or University of Minnesota Extension at 720 Fillmore Street, Suite B090, Alexandria, MN 56308. Make checks payable to DCHS.
