Legacy Grant workshop offered

Lakes Region Arts Council (LRAC) is offering a free Legacy Grant workshop on Wednesday, November 9 from 4 to 6 p.m at the LRAC office at the River Inn, 133 S Mill Street, Fergus Falls.
LRAC is a nonprofit organization that encourages and supports the vitality of the arts.
The workshop is free and open to the public, but space is limited – register by Monday, November 7.
The types of proposals that are eligible for a Legacy Grant include projects for the production of public art, school artist residencies, artistic performances, art and cultural festivals, arts educational experiences and art workshops.
Eligible applicants for a Legacy Grant include all individual artists, nonprofit organizations (both service and arts), schools, colleges, community education departments and units of government such as townships, cities, towns or counties located within the nine-county LRAC region of: Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse and Wilkin.
The current Legacy Grant deadline is January 10.
