On Friday, November 11, Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley will show their appreciation for veterans and active servicemen and women by offering them a free meal at the Grand Buffet.
“Since we started this program three years ago, we have served thousands of free meals to veterans and active servicemen and women at both Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley,” said Mel Towle, interim senior vice president of gaming operations. “We look forward to Veterans Day each year.”
Military personnel will need to show their military or veteran ID card during normal business hours to receive the free buffet (11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 10 p.m. at Grand Casino Mille Lacs and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Grand Casino Hinckley).
“We are pleased to acknowledge and remember the contributions our veterans and active military have made,” said Ronda Weizenegger, Grand Casino Mille Lacs general manager. “Offering a free meal is just a small way of saying ‘thank you’ for their service and commitment.”
