Christian Service Award to be presented
Every year the Unity Foundation recognizes a leader in the community with the Christian Service Award. The 4th annual award presentation will be held at the Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria on Friday, October 21 from noon to 1 p.m.
Every year the Unity Foundation recognizes a leader in the community with the Christian Service Award. The 4th annual award presentation will be held at the Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria on Friday, October 21 from noon to 1 p.m.
The award goes to a person who, because of his or her Christian lifestyle, has made a positive impact on the community. Nominations are submitted to a committee that chooses the award recipient.
This event is held in conjunction with the monthly Faith at Work Lunch. Past recipients include Ed Christopherson, a retired leader of Fellowship of Christian Athletes; Brett Paradis of KXRA Radio and Tim Ferguson of Ferguson Brothers Excavating.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at Mustard Seed bookstore in Alexandria or at the door.
