Mozart’s Requiem short course and tour offered
A short course on Mozart’s Requiem entitled “The Conductor’s Perspective on the Requiem” will be offered on Thursday, October 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The course is led by Dr. Robert Peterson, a retired professor of music. He has conducted the Requiem 14 times with professional musicians.

The session will be held in the Oak Room at Woodland Elementary School in Alexandria. The cost is $15.
On Wednesday, November 2 take a tour to experience the music live in its original setting at the annual All Soul’s Day Mass at the Church of St. Agnes, a historic church in St. Paul. Peterson’s renowned professional orchestra and chorus will perform. The event includes a tour of the church and translated texts.
A bus will depart from Grand Arbor, 4403 Pioneer Road in Alexandria, at 2 p.m. and returns at 11 p.m. Tour cost is $49.
