University of Minnesota Morris theater performers on stage at LAT

On Friday, October 7 at 7 p.m. LAT will host the University of Minnesota, Morris theater performers as they perform The Good Death – a tender story of family members and home care professional tending to the needs of a dying woman.

Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) in Alexandria is offering the following productions this week:

On Friday, October 7 at 7 p.m. LAT will host the University of Minnesota, Morris theater performers as they perform The Good Death – a tender story of family members and home care professional tending to the needs of a dying woman.

The show was adapted for radio from a play of the same name written by area playwright, Kathy Ray, and is directed by Andrew Turbiville.

ON THE AIR

Tune in Sunday, October 9 at 12:30 p.m. on KXRA 1490 AM as LAT presents A Gun for Dinosaur.

Time travel allows a group of men to go back 85 million years to hunt dinosaurs and one of the men is quite trigger-happy. All of the men face the consequences of the acts of this man.

The show is directed by Mike Roers and stars Kip Sundlee, Rexford Sweetwater, Gary Lund, Allen Hayes and Daniel Roers. Sound effects are by Daniel and Mike Roers with Karen Gladen on the keyboard. A Gun for Dinosaur is sponsored by Windmill Ponds.
