Prayer retreat held at Luther Crest Bible Camp
Prayer Watch International (PWI) will present a prayer retreat titled “Lord, Teach Us to Pray!” at Luther Crest Bible Camp, 8231 County Road 11 NE, Alexandria. The retreat will begin Friday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m. and conclude Saturday, November 5 at 3 p.m.

The retreat will begin Friday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m. and conclude Saturday, November 5 at 3 p.m. The event is sponsored by Shalom Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
The cost for the retreat is $50 per person, which includes lodging for Friday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday and all retreat materials.
The five-session retreat is designed to grow people in their closeness with God, and the life-transforming power of prayer. It is ideal for adults as well as youth.
Retreat topics include:
• “Becoming a House of Prayer.”
• “Transformation and the Power of Prayer.”
• “Intercessory Prayer.”
• “Anointed Corporate Prayer.”
• “Praying With and for Others”
PWI is a Christian, international and interdenominational para-church mission organization with a focus on prayer and prayer ministry anchored in the word of God.
The presenter is the Rev. Karl Kruse. Kruse has served congregations in Colorado, Iowa, Utah and Minnesota. In 2000, he came into partnership with the ministry of PWI where he has served as a teacher and leader in prayer schools and conferences in the U.S., Europe and Africa. Kruse now serves with PWI as the Upper Midwest regional director.
Kruse received his master of divinity degree in 1988 from Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa and is currently enrolled in the doctor of ministry program at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul with an emphasis in spiritual formation.
