Chili lovers take note: Sep. 27 is the big day!
Bring on the heat! The United Way of Pope and Douglas Counties’ Chili Feed and Silent Auction is Tuesday, September 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria. “Safari Chili” is this year’s theme. A silent auction will be held during the chili feed.

The United Way of Pope and Douglas Counties’ Chili Feed and Silent Auction is Tuesday, September 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria.
“Safari Chili” is this year’s theme. A silent auction will be held during the chili feed.
“This is such a fun event for everyone in our community,” noted United Way leaders. “Use the event to treat your employees to a lunch time treat.”
Tickets are $6 and include all you can eat of the area’s best chilies. Diners are encouraged to vote for the “People’s Choice” chili.
Gifts to the United Way are tax deductible and are used to help residents in Douglas and Pope counties.
