Wedding - Voge and Karl

Alexis Voge and Scott Karl were married on May 27, 2011. The wedding and reception were held at Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria.

Alexis is the daughter of Craig and Eve Folkestad of Wadena and Greg and Kathleen Voge of Chugiak, Alaska. She graduated from Wadena Deer Creek High School in 2000 and obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota. She is currently employed as a senior information technology analyst in Bloomington.

Scott is the son of Benay and the late Dale Karl of Alexandria. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1996 and obtained an associate degree in refrigeration and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning from Moorhead Technical College. He is currently employed as a senior operational maintenance technician in Minneapolis.

Attendants at the wedding were Holly Meyer of San Diego, California; Corynn Cooper of Fargo, North Dakota; Andrea Seelhammer of Deer Creek; Amy Johnston of La Salle, Manitoba; Macy and Cameron Folkestad of Wadena; Sam Schwabe of Minneapolis; Dylan Folkestad of Roseville; Marty McDonough of Arden Hills; Justin Swenson of Alexandria; Randy Karl of Alexandria; and Cooper Folkestad of Wadena.

The couple makes their home in Maple Grove.
