NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Sections 10.23 and 10.21 of the Alexandria City Code, the Alexandria Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on September 19, 2011 at 7:00 pm in the Alexandria City Hall to consider the requested amendment to the previously approved Planned Unit Development applications (C-11-002, DA-11-001 and PUD-11-001) of the Alexandria Technical & Community College Foundation. The amendment would reduce the scope of the project from 300 beds in two buildings to a single, 150-bed student housing facility and would reconfigure the location of that building and open space/buffers. The property is located at 1704 Jefferson Street and is legally described as: “2.71 AC Of NE4 Unplatted Alexandria City, Section 30, Township 128, Range 37, Douglas County, Minnesota.”

Notice of this hearing has been mailed to all property owners of record within 350 feet of the property in question. The public is invited to attend this hearing. Any questions or comments should be addressed to Mike Weber, City Planner, at (320) 763-6678.
