Free pre-healthcare/nursing course offered
Through District 206 Community Education, the Alexandria Area Adult Basic Education (ABE) Consortium is partnering with Alexandria Technical and Community College (ATCC) to offer a free pre-healthcare/nursing course at ATCC this fall.
Through District 206 Community Education, the Alexandria Area Adult Basic Education (ABE) Consortium is partnering with Alexandria Technical and Community College (ATCC) to offer a free pre-healthcare/nursing course at ATCC this fall.
The course is offered at no cost to the first 20 qualified applicants. The registration deadline is Monday, September 12.
The course will be held at ATCC on Mondays and Wednesdays, September 19 through November 16. Course hours are 5:30 to 9 p.m.
The course curriculum is meant to be a bridge between certified nursing assistant (CNA) and licensed practical nursing (LPN) training.
