Hundreds of motorcycles to roll through Fergus Falls Saturday

The public is invited to see hundreds of motorcycles passing through downtown Fergus Falls to benefit the Lakeland Hospice Foundation this Saturday, September 10, starting around noon for a brief 15 to 20 minutes or so.
Many supporters of Lakeland Hospice and Home Care on motorcycles of all shapes and sizes will be riding from the parking lot of Lakeland Hospice and Home Care on Pebble Lake Road (Vernon) to Sheridan and then on Lincoln heading west through down town Fergus Falls to Union and then heading North on Union to Fir and finally north on Cleveland past the Lakeland Hospice House on Highway 27 to head out of town.
The ride will continue for approximately 130 miles winding through the lakes country. Two stops will be made along the way in Battle Lake and Frazee. Go online at hospice-ride.com to register in advance. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. in person and the ride will start rain or shine at 12 Noon. T-shirts are available for purchase.
Tickets are still available for the 2011 Harley Davidson Softtail Classic motorcycle that will be raffled off that evening. The public is invited to a free-will donation dinner around 5 p.m. planned for Z103 Bar and Grill at the Best Western in Fergus Falls following the ride with music and dancing lasting into the night.
