ON THE AIR

Mystery and suspense will fill the airwaves on KXRA 1490 AM on Sunday, September 4 at 12:30 p.m. when Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) presents The Lodger.

A new lodger rents a room from the Buntings. He arrives amidst spreading fear of a serial killer in the city. Who is he? What about him makes Mrs. Bunting so on edge?

Listen to this chilling story that originally starred Peter Lorre and Agnes Moorehead.

The show was directed by Keri Mohror and stars Curtis Deterding, Kelly Smith, Kip Sundlee, Sarah Morton and Sue Justice. Sound effects are by Rick Dusterhoft.

ON STAGE

Hilarity and hijinks are words that describe Friday night's show, September 2 at 7 p.m. live on the stage at LAT.

Irma and Jane, two new roommates, learn the art of coexistence as they get to know each other and the men in their lives.

Smart and sophisticated Jane, assistant to her beloved multi-billionaire Richard Rhinelander, thinks that Irma was slipped a mickey when she was born. While not the brightest female, sweet Irma muddles through life with Jane and her love, fast-talking and slow-thinking Al, who is always looking for the next big business deal.

Directed by Mike Roers, My Friend Irma: Irma Meets Jane stars Robin Johnson, Kip Sundlee, Ann Hermes, Kevin Lee and Miriam Thornquist. Tim Ray will provide sound effects and Bob Piotrowski will be on the keyboard.
