Blood drives scheduled for area

Following are the upcoming blood drives in the area:
• Tuesday, September 6, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Alexandria Armory, 311 Broadway Street.
• Tuesday, September 13, 1 to 6 p.m., Shalom Lutheran Church, 800 Country Road 44 NW, Alexandria.
Call 1-800-733-2767 or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or for information. A blood donor’s card or driver’s license, or two other forms of identification are required.
Individuals who are 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible.
