Nominees sought for people who have helped those with disabilities
The Minnesota State Council on Disability seeks nominations to recognize outstanding achievement and extraordinary effort by individuals or organizations whose work improves the quality of life for people with disabilities.
The Minnesota State Council on Disability seeks nominations to recognize outstanding achievement and extraordinary effort by individuals or organizations whose work improves the quality of life for people with disabilities.
It invites people to view and submit nominations in all seven categories. The nomination submission deadline is Tuesday, September 6.
Award recipients will be honored September 26 during the Annual Awards Luncheon hosted by the Minnesota State Council on Disability, sponsored by Pathways to Employment.
A panel discussion focused on emergency preparedness for employers will be offered, followed by the awards luncheon and meet-and-greet with keynote speaker Richard Devylder. Employers, small and large throughout Minnesota are encouraged to participate to learn more about disaster preparedness and the importance of developing a plan that includes people with disabilities.
