A 58-year-old Villard man died in a farming related accident Wednesday.
John Lanigan was found under a swather at his farm at 19146, County Road 28 in Leven Township shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to the Pope County Sheriff’s Office.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Villard First Responders, Glenwood and Villard fire departments and Glacial Ridge Ambulance responded.
