This week, the Echo Press will start asking online readers to update and re-verify their online accounts on the website.
When a user is logged in and they access an article they will be prompted to verify their account.
It will only take a few seconds of your time.
All newspapers owned by Forum Communications, like the Echo Press and Fargo Forum, will ask online account users to re-verify their information.
Over time, unverified information and closed e-mail accounts clutter up all of the good data entered by online readers. Occasionally, the company’s newspapers need to take steps to clear out this information.
The company’s interactive team cautions that without users’ verification it won't be able to provide many of the site's cool features, like the ability to send you breaking news alerts or coupons from your favorite local businesses.
The information you provide is very valuable to our advertisers and helps keep advertising relevant to you. Advertising is what allows us to provide the web site to you at no cost.
