Letter - Opportunity to continue area's momentum
Sixteen years ago we moved to Alexandria to start a business and raise our family. We chose Alexandria because of the beautiful lakes and progressive community spirit. It has been thrilling to watch this community evolve into a robust regional hub.

Sixteen years ago we moved to Alexandria to start a business and raise our family. We chose Alexandria because of the beautiful lakes and progressive community spirit. It has been thrilling to watch this community evolve into a robust regional hub.
The new Alexandria Area High School complex gives us an opportunity to continue this momentum. The project provides both immediate and long-term economic growth; an opportunity for two of our largest employers and service providers (ATC and DCH) to expand; allow for tournaments and concerts, that, according to a study by St. Cloud State University, will generate an estimated $1.5 million per year in economic activity at local hotels, restaurants and retail outlets; attract and retain businesses and skilled workers (including teachers); provide additional programs for our students, making them better prepared to enter the work force or higher education.
What an exciting venture! Vote Yes on September 27 and our entire community wins.
