Animals, food and fun brighten the afternoon at Knute Nelson in Alexandria

Smiling faces over full lunch plates brightened the grounds of Knute Nelson August 21 during its annual Community Picnic.

Smiling faces over full lunch plates brightened the grounds of Knute Nelson August 21 during its annual Community Picnic. The picnic, donated by free will, included a variety of activities and entertainment for kids of all ages. Erickson’s Petting Zoo, face painting and sidewalk chalk were available, along with live music by Terry Kennedy and Sami Steidl.
