Event is St. Cloud helps families of children with cancer

St. Cloud Hospital Pediatric Cancer Services is hosting its fourth annual hematology/oncology family education event from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at CentraCare Health Plaza.

St. Cloud Hospital Pediatric Cancer Services is hosting its fourth annual hematology/oncology family education event from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at CentraCare Health Plaza.

It will include a hands-on “Underwater Habitats” presentation by the Sea Life Aquarium from the Mall of America. While your children enjoy this activity, Lori Listug-Lunde, PhD, St. Cloud Hospital Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health, will talk to parents and caregivers about supporting siblings while having a child in cancer treatment.

Snacks will be provided. RSVP to (320) 229-5139 by Sept. 12. Open to all families of children with cancer in Minnesota. Supported by the CentraCare Health Foundation Pediatric Cancer Greatest Needs Fund.
