Reader’s Choice Favorite Waitress

Reader’s of the Echo Press couldn’t pick just one area waitress as their favorite – they chose three:

Cassie Steidl from Jan’s Place, Becca Christiansen from Raapers Eatery and Ale, and Alison Toft from Doolittles.

Cassie Steidl has been waitressing at Jan’s Place for eight years. “The environment here is awesome! I love working with the people, and my boss and all the workers here are great. I’m always kept busy.”

Becca Christiansen has been part of the Raapers team for five and a half years. “My favorite thing about working at Raapers is the family-like atmosphere. Everyone has been working here for a long time so it’s a good team. I wouldn’t change this job for anything.”

It will be four years in September since Alison Toft started working at Doolittles Woodfire Grill. “I love that we all work as a team. The management is great and it’s always fast pace.”

Alison told of Doolittles’ motto: ‘Employee for life, guest for life, citizen for life.’ She said, “Doolittles is great to me, that is why I can be great to my customers.”
