The staff at Bremer Bank strives to make every customer feel welcomed, valued and confident. Obviously, they are succeeding – customers voted Bremer Bank as offering the Best Customer Service at a Local Business in the recent Reader’s Choice survey.
“We are so pleased!” said David Kjos, Bremer Bank president. “We believe customer service can differentiate us from our competition and we do train our employees in this area.”
Kjos explained that making customers feel welcomed includes greeting them and knowing them by name.
“From the tellers to administrative people to our bank officers, we want to make sure we know our clients,” he explained.
The valued part comes in by making customers know that their business is appreciated.
“If it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t be here,” Kjos said. “Hopefully, every customer leaves here with the feeling of being valued.”
Bremer staff wants customers to be confident that their needs are being taken care of.
Kjos added that good customer service can only be provided when employees enjoy what they do.
“You can tell when someone enjoys working at a business, and it impacts customer satisfaction,” he explained. “We try to create an environment and culture where our people are happy with what they do. That feeds down to the service they provide our clients.
Bremer Bank has two locations in Alexandria and one in Brandon with additional locations throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota.
