The fine arts and crafts show, promoted as “Central Minnesota’s finest outdoor craft festival,” has grown from about 15 vendors during its first year to about 180 today.
The Alexandria Area Arts Association (AAAA) event, sponsored this year by West Central Sanitation and Echo Press, draws crowds and exhibitors from a multi-state area.
Proceeds from Art in the Park are used to maintain and improve the AAAA Theatre.
