Alexandria native Tom Lehman put himself right in the mix at the British Open after firing a 67 during the second round at Royal St. George's today.
That put him at a two-under par 138 heading into the weekend. Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke and the United States' Lucas Glover were the leaders in the clubhouse at four-under, with others still on the course as of 11 a.m.
Lehman has been playing great golf this year and hopes to join the likes of Greg Norman and Tom Watson as former champions who made another run at the Open after the age of 50. Lehman, 52, won the British Open at Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club in 1996.
