Affinity Plus to introduce loan program at 'State Shutdown Aid Fair' Friday

Affinity Plus has planned a “State Shutdown Aid Fair” to be held on Friday, July 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

While the state shutdown lingers on, Affinity Plus is reaching out to members of the credit union and the general public to offer individualized financial assistance.

Affinity Plus has planned a “State Shutdown Aid Fair” to be held on Friday, July 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held at 175 W. Lafayette Frontage Road in St. Paul for the metropolitan area, as well as branch locations across Greater Minnesota, including Alexandria.

Affinity Plus has pledged $25 million for a loan program to help those affected by the state shutdown. The program will be introduced at the fair on Friday, including some of the following options:

--No payments on mortgages for up to 90 days

--Free financial assessment

--No closing costs

--Low fixed rates

--Multiple loan payment options including temporary skip payments or interest-only
