Seminar gives overview of charter school process

The Minnesota Association of Charter Schools is offering a basic information seminar designed for those exploring the development of a public charter school in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Association of Charter Schools is offering a basic information seminar designed for those exploring the development of a public charter school in Minnesota.

This seminar, entitled "So You Want to Start a Charter School," provides an overview of the chartering process in Minnesota: the purposes of charters, authorizing, contracting, legal requirements, funding, and the process from concept to reality. This seminar is intended to provide participants with answers to their big questions.

It will be held on Wednesday, August 17 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in St. Paul. There is a fee of $25 per individual to attend. For further information and to register to attend, visit the event registration page on the MACS website at: http://mncharterschools.org/page/1/Charter101-Registration.jsp
