Local fabric/fiber artists to have work on display at LRAC exhibit

The Lake Region Arts Council (LRAC) announces the “Fantastic Fabric and Fiber art exhibit beginning July 11 at the LRAC/McKnight Gallery in Fergus Falls. The exhibit will be on display through October 7.

The juried exhibit will feature original work by regional artists who use fiber and/or fabric as their main medium. The jury selected work that was imaginative, non-traditional and creative.

Alexandria residents who were chosen for the exhibit include Rebecca Albright, Jeanne Back and Joan Huseth.

An artist reception will be held September 20 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the LRAC gallery. The public is invited. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
