Engagement - Downey/Nies

Megan Downey and Daniel Nies, both of West Fargo, North Dakota, announce their engagement.

Megan is the daughter of Drs. Craig and Vicki Wilson of Loveland, Colorado and Brad and Sabrina Downey of Waconia. She is a 2001 graduate of University High School in Greeley, Colorado. In 2004 she earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and in 2006 a master’s degree of public health. She works at Fargo Cass Public Health in the Department of Emergency Preparedness.

Dan is the son of Michael and Wendy Nies of Alexandria. He is a 2001 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria and a 2009 graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. He is a substitute teacher for various school districts around Fargo/Moorhead and works in the banquet department at the Holiday Inn.

A July 23, 2011 wedding and reception are planned in Alexandria.
