Lund is Pheasant Conference pitcher of the year

Aaron Lund of Brandon-Evansville was named the pitcher of the year in the Pheasant Conference this year as his team finished tied for second in the league standings.

Lund, a senior pitcher/catcher for the Chargers, was named to the All-conference team along with teammates junior outfielder Levi Hintermeister, senior infielder/pitcher Sean Henneman and sophomore infielder Billy Juul.

Senior Brant Bitzan and junior Dan Schaffer received honorable mention.

Ashby senior pitcher/catcher Sam Graham was also selected to the All-Pheasant Conference team along with teammate freshman pitcher/shortstop Reed Hanson.

Sophomore Dylan Barry received honorable mention.

Riley Wilson of Wheaton/Herman-Norcross was selected as the most valuable player in the conference, with Jon Fellows of Ortonville named the coach of the year.
