Engagement - Fisher and Svobodny

Jeannie Fisher and John Svobodny, both of Eagan, announce their engagement.

Jeannie is the daughter of Jerry and Cindy Fisher of Dickinson, North Dakota. She is a 1996 graduate of Trinity High School in Dickinson. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Moorhead State University in 2000 and her master’s degree in education from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2005. She is a 5th grade teacher at Lakeville Area Schools.

John is the son of Michael and Miriam Svobodny of Alexandria. He is a 1997 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria and a 2008 graduate of Concordia University in St. Paul with a bachelor’s degree in IT management. He is a project manager at Enhanced Systems in Eden Prairie.

An August 13, 2011 wedding and reception are planned at the Crystal Lake Golf Club in Lakeville.
