Alexandria City Council supports Broadway facelift

The Alexandria City Council took the next step toward rebuilding a five-block section of Broadway in 2014.

At its meeting Monday night, the council unanimously approved a “statement of intent” to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to reconstruct and redesign Broadway between 3rd and 8th Avenue.
