Traffic signal installation in Sauk Centre begins Monday

Motorists may encounter intermittent lane and shoulder closures at the intersection of Highway 71 and Stearns County Road 186 in Sauk Centre beginning Monday, May 16, while crews install new traffic signals. Pedestrians also will experience sidewalk closures.

Motorists may encounter intermittent lane and shoulder closures at the intersection of Highway 71 and Stearns County Road 186 in Sauk Centre beginning Monday, May 16, while crews install new traffic signals. Pedestrians also will experience sidewalk closures.

The project was originally scheduled to begin May 9, but was postponed due to a delay in materials delivery.

Work is expected to be completed by mid-June, weather permitting.

Motorists should slow down and watch for intermittent lanes closures in areas where crews are working.
