The Cage Fighting Xtreme (CFX) MMA event will be in Alexandria after making a stop in Brainerd last weekend. The amateur event will feature 10 fights in five different weight classes, from featherweight to heavyweight divisions.
Cage-side tables are sold out but general admission tickets are still available for $25. Those can be purchased at Fat Daddy’s Bar and Grill, which is the official host of the event after party. Doors to the RCC open at 6 p.m. with fights starting at 7.
Cage Fighting Xtreme is owned by Brock Larson, a UFC and WEC veteran with a professional MMA record of 33 wins and five losses. Larson, a Brainerd resident, is also a grappling instructor with a black belt in Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu.
The CFX puts on events all around Minnesota, including stops in Minneapolis, Brainerd, Grand Rapids and St. Cloud.
