Families in Motion workshop scheduled

Central Square in Glenwood will sponsor a unique, free workshop by the nationally recognized Stuart Pimsler Dance Theater on Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m.

The workshop, entitled “Families in Motion,” is for children and adults to participate in together and invites all ages to rediscover the simple yet joyful moments of moving with each other.

Young and old are encouraged to make new connections with each other, physically and emotionally, through movement explorations.

Children may participate with a parent, older sibling, aunt, uncle, grandparent, caregiver or other relative. No partner nor experience is necessary.

Comfortable clothing is recommended. There is no cost for the workshop; the activity is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature. For more information, call Central Square at (320) 634-0400.
