Hello spring, goodbye winter
Just like their human counterparts, animals and birds are adjusting to the change of seasons.
- Hello! Come play?
- Going for a walk
- A turkey feeder?
Corinne Stinton of Evansville snapped this photo of her dog, Puddin’, eying a squirrel that tried several times to get into the house, popping up against the door as if to ask the dog to come outside and play.
Just like their human counterparts, animals and birds are adjusting to the change of seasons. Ducks in Alexandria walked among swirling snowflakes on a city street last week and a wild turkey showed up at the bird feeder of the Lowell and Kim Anderson home near Lake Carlos State Park.
