Free diabetes screening available in Douglas County

Douglas County Lions and Broadway Medical Center are sponsoring the following free diabetes screenings:
April 12, 7 to 9 a.m. – Evansville Senior Center.
April 14, 7 to 9 a.m. – Osakis Pollard Community Center.
April 19, 7 to 9 a.m. – Brandon Senior Center.
April 21, 7 to 9 a.m. – Alexandria Senior Center.
April 26, 7 to 9 a.m. – Kensington Community Center.
April 28, 7 to 9 a.m. – (for Forada residents) Viking Plaza Mall.
Screening is most effective if four hours fasting is observed before screening.
Lions members will serve a light snack following the screening.
