New state laws have recently come into effect and there are more to come that may substantially impact your properties. Are you ready?
An opportunity is available locally to hear from those “in the know” about the new laws concerning changes to the abandoned property statute, applicant screening, attorney fees, late fees and federal lead regulations.
The legislative update will be held at Alexandria City Hall in the council chambers, 704 Broadway, on Tuesday, April 12 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Lisa Marvin, CEO of Essence Property Management and head of the Central Minnesota Multi-Housing Association (MHA), will explain how each of these new laws affects multi-family housing and give practical advice on what can be done for compliance.
Cost to attend this session is $39 for MHA members and $59 for non-members. This session is approved for 2.0 CEUs.
