Wedding - Lanoue/Piekarski

Maria Lanoue, daughter of Jeffrey and Lynelle Lanoue of Carlos, and Mitchell Piekarski, son of Terrence and Debra Piekarski of Glenwood, were married August 21, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria. Pastor Steve Binsfield officiated the ceremony. A reception and dance followed at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria.

Jennifer Skoog, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Mary Gervais, Katie Siemonsma and Kimberly Roggatz, cousins of the bride; and Kara Brackett, Tara Stevens and Natalie Treschak, friends of the couple. Rebekah Gibson, cousin of the bride, served as personal attendant. Celia Millar-Piekarski, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.

Patrick Piekarski, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Matthew Lanoue, brother of the bride; and Mark Majerus, Jeffrey Paulzine, George Guggisberg, Benjamin Brown and Nathan Paulzine, friends of the couple. Adam Skoog, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer. Ushers included Chad Benson, Doug Bot, Derek Holten and Nicholas Swartz, friends of the couple.

After a honeymoon in Maui, the couple resides in Moorhead.
